Mizho's ICON Suit

Mizho has a very unique way of dressing, as she often gets carried away with her Savate training and ends up hurting herself. She has bandages wrapped all around her body under her school uniform, starting from her neck and ending at her toes. She also seems to wear boots under her bandages, but this wasn't apparent in her debut.

Her hair consists of bangs that vary in length, resulting in some locks to reach her shoulders, with the rest of her hair tied up into pigtails with black ribbons. She wears a heart-shaped eye-patch over her right eye - seemingly also part of her goth wear. Starting in Chapter 23, she starts carrying a crutch with her as an accessory.

During her time in the 1940s, Mizho donned a light-colored kimono, a military hat, and carries a oil-paper umbrella.

In Act 43, it shows Mizho's ICON suit is a one-piece, leather leotard that exposes her back, expect for a one strap across her back, and wears two pads on her left tight. She also wears a dark-colored, heart-shaped eye patched over her right eye, wrists cuffs, and her ponytails are held together by scissors-shaped hair-clips.

Personality[]

Despite having the sin of sloth, Mizho shown to be strong-willed, tough, scrappy, and will take action herself. She sticks by her words and doesn't show any mercy, as she doesn't mind getting violent and seems to enjoy it. Having an apathetic personality, Mizho demonstrated to be very sadistic and cruel, having no qualms about killing and smiles when getting violent. Despite her viciousness, Mizho is typically has a bored expression and reacts to her surroundings in kind, such being unfazed when Roger Dunstan appeared before her and allies. While willing to follow Vice's orders, Mizho is very blunt in her dislike of K and display a snarky attitude towards the rest.

Since she was originally a man in her past life, she apparently despises the fact that she no longer a male, calling her reborn form a "weak body". Mizho is shown to be very fond of the chocolate snack "Pocky", and is seen eating it most of her appearances.

Biography[]

The 20th Century[]

Mizho's Past Life

Mizho's past life "Michel Dubois".

In the 20th century, Mizho was born as French Lieutenant Michel Dubois, a man who was in the fifth demi-brigade of the Chesseurs Alpins in the French Army during World War I. During that life, he developed his own form of Savate martial arts moves. In the 21th century, Michel Dubois was reborn as Japanese girl, Mizho, and became the master of evil dôji Paresse.

The 21st Century[]

Part I[]

Having been called in by K, Mizho appeared along with the other members of The Evil Dôji Branch in the forest near Mt. Fuji for the One Hundred Machine Funeral, ambushing the good dôji masters. When Pardonner was presumably about to attack Désir, Mizho was sitting in the trees behind The Good Dôji Club masters, and warned Pardonner to stop, shocking the masters with her presence. Holding them hostages, she stated the good dôji masters not to move, or she would have Paresse kill them all.

After Musashi Murayama stated to Shin Ekoda that they should have killed Ultimo and Yamato Agari, Paresse slashes off all of the good dôji masters' heads, while Mizho cruelly reminded them of her threat. Despite nearly winning, the Evil Dôji Branch's victory was halted by Yamato Agari using the remaining energy in God Ultimo to manipulated Space-Time, rewinding time to the day before. As a result, Mizho, her allies, and everyone else lost their memories of the events, with the expectation of Yamato and Musashi Murayama due to God Regla's abilities.

Part III[]

After Yamato reset time, Mizho arrived outside Sparrow Place with Paresse for an evening meeting of the Evil Doji Branch. However, they were early to the meeting and were about to ditch since Mizho didn't want to be near K more than she has to, but they are confronted by three boys, who obnoxiously teased her about her clothes and mockingly ask if she has Chūnibyō. Although Mizho warned the boys to leave her alone, they continued to provoke her and she ended up sticking pocky up one of the boys' nose, causing to him bleed. She ordered Paresse to handle the other two boys, but her lazy dôji refused to do so, prompting Mizho to fight with them herself, injuring them in the process. Showing off the boys crazed expression, Mizho stated that she won't kill them and demanded they leave before she change her mind. After the boys remarked how abnormal she was, Mizho mentioned her previous life as "Michel Dubois", which only caused the teens to believed that she was crazy.

As Paresse was about to kill one of the boys, Fusataro Fussa and Rage arrived and stopped their actions before he could. Mizho was upset at Fussa and Rage for interrupting, and snapped at Fussa when he flirted with her, prompting him to back off. As Fussa questioned what Mizho planned to do with trio of bystanders, the other members arrived and bickered among themselves. Their banter were cut short when Vice made his presence known and quickly kill off the bystanders to begin he meeting, but Roger Dunstan and his Karakuri Dôji Milieu appeared. Unlike most of her allies, Mizho showed no panic at his presence, voiced her boredom and suggested to Paresse that they should leave, but Kaizo Oume stopped them by questioning Dunstan on the group's behalf. Mizho listen to Dunstan explained the "rules" for the One Hundred Machine Funeral and expressed her displeasured at the constrictions. Mizho pointed out the disadvantage the rules put the the Evil Dôji Branch in, since they "specialize" in killing their enemies rather swaying them. However, Rune Kodaira pointed out they can keep defeating their enemies until they break their spirits. However, Vice expressed his distaste of these conditions and declared that he or the others didn't have to follow Dunstan's rules.

After Vice challenged Dunstan to an ICON fight, Mizho and the others witnessed Dunstan's overwhelming might as he easily defeated their leaders. Upon God Ultimo's arrival at the apartment, she expressed great shock at their sudden appearance and watched on as the The Good Dôji Club fail to fight off Dunstan. With everyone in attendance, Dunstan explained the rules for the One Hundred Machine Funeral and reminded everyone that he was watching them before disappearing. Afterwards, Rune mentioned to Yamato that the entire Evil Dôji Branch agreed to go about their lives during the year-long Hundred Machine Funeral, Mizho included.

Once Vice's achieved his second form and stole Ultimo's Time-Space Noh, Vice transported Mizho and rest of the Evil Dôji Branch via time-travel to 1944 of Japan. They lived and trained for three years in the Japanese army as they wait for the Good Dôji Club to arrived. Once Yamato and his friends arrived in 1947, Mizho was presented when Kaizo Oume reported their enemies' arrival to time period. By nightfall the next day, the Evil Dôji Branch soon accepted Makoto Sayama as a new ally, who was secretly Dunstan's daughter and has betrayed Yamato in favor joining the former to defeat her father. While watching over Yamato's actions, Vice and the group oversaw Ultimo reaching his Second state, though they were unfazed by this development, with Mizho boasting they were still capable beating the opposition. As Sayama goes to sabotaged Yamato's memories, Vice deployed Mizho and some of the others as back-up. Flying to Yamato's location in their Level 2 ICON, Mizho and Paresse attempted to attack Musashi and Sophia, but was stopped by God Ultimo. After Musashi and Sophia entered their ICON, God Ultimo let go of Demon Parasse to tackle Sayama, letting Demon Parasse engaged with the former. However, their fight was halted by Dunstan's arrival, who was pleased how everything was going and proclaimed to everyone that the One Hundred Machine Funeral was almost over. Mizho watched as Yamato and Yoichi Oizumi tried to fight Dunstan and failed stop him from taking Sayama to The 30th Century. Deciding to retreat, both sides ceased fighting to head back to their respective residents in order strategize their next move, though Fussa choose to side with the opposition. Due to how weakened the Good Dôji Club was at the moment, Vice choose to capitalize on the opportunity and conduct an ambush with the rest of the group.

With Vice and his secondary master, Jun Chichibu, taking the lead, Mizho and the rest were directed to follow from a distance, with the exception Kaizo, who turned against them out of self-interest. As they head towards 1947 Hibari Oume's home, Vice was intercepted by a lone Ultimo and soon a intragroup conflict broke out between Vice and Jun due the former's having a spiritual epiphany. Mizho and her comrades quietly stood by until Vice called out to them to show themselves when Yamato and his allies arrived to the scene. After Yamato and Ultimo beat Vice into submission and made him an ally, both sides focused on training for their impending battle with Dunstan. Once they were ready, the masters and their Karakuri Dôji headed to Dunstan's tower in the 30th Century. As the group reflected over how far they come, Mizho dryly quipped nothing impactful ever happened to her, which Sumako Miyoshi and Hana Koganei playfully resort by telling her not to complain and to be glad she didn't suffer. During the raid of Dunstan's tower, Mizho and the rest of the Evil Dôji Branch attacked Dunstan and Milieu to buy time for the Good Dôji Club save Sayama and synchronize Ultimo and Vice's spirit spheres to form Ideos Ultimo - a form symbolizing of the unity between good and evil.

Pleased by how both sides' realization of the nature of good and evil, Dunstan praised them for their efforts and revealed the real reason of his experiment was to save the future from its destruction. Dunstan then forcefully dispelled everyone from their ICON and immobilize the dôjis, leading all the masters to free fall in the air. Dunstan proclaimed everyone that his experiment isn't over and turned back time, but he allowed Mizho and the others masters to keep their memories and transformed the dôjis into humans. Choosing to stay together with Paresse, a reformed Mizho formed a band with Paresse, Fussa, and Rage named "West Tokyo Incidents".

Relationships[]

Paresse[]

She has been the master of Paresse throughout the 21st century. They seem to have a strained relationship, as she is shown to sometimes snap at him, calling him a "useless dôji". Because of her dôji's sloth, she is sometimes forced to act herself when Paresse doesn't act on her orders. At the end of the series, after Dunstan turns Paresse into a human, Mizho and Paresse choose to continue to living together and starts a band called "West Tokyo Incidents" with Fusataro Fussa and Rage.

Abilities[]

Due to her past life as a solider, Mizho states that even in her present life, she still tries to keep up with her training in the art of Savate, a type French martial arts. Despite her frail appearance, Mizho is very deadly in combat, easily overpowering three opponents larger than her while using crutches. Mizho developed a move called "Military Savate la Canne", a mixture of Savate and Canne de combat (two types of French martial arts). This move involves her using her crutch to lock her opponent's arms and twisting them, causing the person's shoulders to become dislocated.

Trivia[]

  • She bares a striking resemblance to Marion Phauna, a follower of Hao Asakura, in Hiroyuki Takei's other work, Shaman King.
  • Mizho is the only human character to have no surname given or revealed.
