Jun Chichibu (秩父 ジュン Chichibu Jun) is a young boy who has malicious desires to became Vice's master. He is a second year student at Tanasu Daisan Jr. High.

Although not a official member of The Evil Dôji Branch and despite Vice's initial disregard for him, Jun was accepted as an ally to the group. Through his association with Vice, Jun was able to travel through space-time, quickly ageing to a 17-year-old within series, though only for a brief time.[1]

Appearance[]

Jun is a young boy with a small, slender figure and a short height. He has black, chin-length layered hair, with bangs that normally cover his dark eyes, which has visible bags under them.

He wears a school uniform consists of a long jacket with every button fastened, matching black pants, and wears light-colored high-top sneakers.

After time traveling to the 1940s and staying there for three years, a 17-year-old Jun wears a dark-colored sailor navy uniform with light-colored stripe on the sleeves and collar. He wears a light-color scarf, shoes and a sailor hat with the words for "Imperial Japanese Navy" on it. His ICON suit are simple pair of dark shorts, lacking any other piece of clothing.

Jun has a dark, volatile demeanor, being prone to mood-swings that can range from twisted joy or anger within seconds, and extreme violent tendencies. He harbors the sinister desire to be Vice's master, possessing a large obsession and devotion towards Vice. Jun is willing to harm or kill anyone that might hinder Vice's plans, unfazed by even Vice's personal disdain for him and reacts with happiness at the thought that Vice would have kill on two separate occasions. Rune Kodaira notes that Jun an has overwhelming self-love and only thinks about himself. Jun's selfish and murderous nature was so intense it allows Vice to feed off him and turn it into energy.

Jun shown to be very mentally unstable, able to easily cause people harm without any hesitation or excitement. Jun demonstrated to have extreme homicidal and suicidal tendencies, as well being nihilistic. According to Jealous, Jun wishes for death from the very bottom of his heart and Jun proclaims that he finds dying is better than living. However, Kiyose Matsumoto points out that Jun does shows signs of fearing death, judging from his reaction from seeing traumatic memories of a warzone, but Jun denies this claim. Not even his fanatical obsession with Vice keeps the evil Karakuri Dôji safe from Jun's dangerously unstable mind; when Vice begins to show a change of heart, Jun tries to kill Vice for going against his nature. Ironically, it is Jun's extreme violent, psychopathic demeanor that cause Vice to examines his own nature since Jun's personality invokes a strong feeling of disdain and self-loathing from him.

Biography[]

Prior to meeting Vice, Jun was a victim of constant bullying and retaliated by non-fatally injuring the students involved with a knife. Since his parents are wealthy and he maintained good grades, the incident was covered up. Jun was then left to attend a different school freely, but only goes to school about twice a year because of bullying. Eventually, Jun learned about the Karakuri Dôji via Internet, leaked by Rune Kodaira, and became obsessed with Vice.

Soon after learning about Vice, Jun track down and approached the evil dôji, spilling out personal such his fight with Roger Dunstan the day before and jabbering about how much he admire Vice. Annoyed by his presence, Vice stabbed Jun for getting in his way, but Jun darkly pleased by Vice's actions and smiled. Jun stated his suicidal desires to die with Vice as master and dôji, which only disgusted Vice further. Vice kicked him and called him crazy for daring to speak to him in such a way. Vice prepared to behead the teen, which Jun gleefully welcomed him to do so, but Rune Kodaira and Jealous arrived to urged Vice to stop. Rune explained that killing Jun would only please him and Jealous stated that Jun strongly wishes for death, which only confused Vice. Jealous described that Jun was a rare "evil elite", telling Vice that Jun absolutely only lives for himself and he should consider Jun's proposal. Vice rejected the idea due to his disdain for Jun and stomped on the bleeding teenager before shifting his attention to other matters.

Wanting to use Jun for his own machinations, Rune took the unconscious boy was taken to Kiyose Matsumoto's house, so that Pardonner can heal his heavily bleeding wounds. After he was healed and woke up, he lashed out at Rune for still being alive and put his hands on Rune's throat. Rune explained that he wish for Jun to become Vice's master, stating that he hate Vice's current master, K, causing Jun to calmed down and released him. As Rune explained that they were in a good dôji master's house, Rune called out to Kiyose and Pardonner, who were listening in and earn of Rune's intention for Jun. When Pardonner and Kiyose showed themselves, Jun became agitated as he recalled Pardonner's Noh and shoot Pardonner with a crossbow, intending to destroy his spirit sphere. When he was about to do the same to Kiyose, Akitsu Otake and Slow appear using Fate Manipulation so that the arrow would miss. Excited to meet more masters, Jun recite Akitsu's personal information, prompting Rune revealed his goal in recruiting more evil masters to The Evil Dôji Branch.

As Akitsu and Rune began an ICON battle, Jun prevent Kiyose from helping her friend by holding off her with his crossbow. After Akitsu and Rune suffered grave injuries, Kiyose wanted to go heal them, but Jun ordered not to move and was content to let Rune die since he's been going behind Vice's back. Jun also destroyed Kiyose's phone to prevent her from calling Yamato Agari and Ultimo for help. In retaliation, Kiyose quickly heal Parodnner by giving him energy and has him show Jun memories of her past life to distract him. Seeing memories of a war zone, Jun also felt sensations of pain and other senses, which frightening Jun in the process. While Kiyose tried to teach Jun about the meaning of life and death, Jun rebuffed her lecture and stated the memories only heighten his belief that life was meaningless. Kiyose to Jun the he was experiencing a scene of a escaped enemy soldier and was about to killed, which caused Jun to cowered in fear. Jun then saw how Koun Shakujii stopped the gunmen and Kiyose how was taught by the doctor about importance of living. When Jun questioned what was wrong in dying, Kiyose explained she died in her past life and pointed that Jun was scared of dying deep down.

When he was released from the visions, Jun was free to walk away from Kiyose unharmed, and went to Sparrow Place to kill K to become Vice's new master. However, K was able to defend himself, hitting Jun with his arm cast, and took Jun's crossbow. When K intended to called the police and have them deal with Jun, the latter was flabbergasted by this and noted that K's incompetence was the reason Vice choosing him as his master. Soon after, Vice arrived to apartment and took in the scene, but he initially didn't recognized Jun, who reverted to gushing over the former once again. Although Jun try to win Vice's favor by giving info about Rune's plot and what he knew of the opposition, Vice had no interest in schemes and still wanted to kill him, which Jun was content with. Aside of causing more trouble, K argued against killing Jun and believed that he might be useful to them. Jun lashed out at K stopping Vice and attempted to hit K with a guitar. They are interrupted by Hibari Oume and Goge, who were in the neighborhood and overheard their entire conversation, arrived to save Jun's life. Although, Jun cheered for Vice while watching him fight against them and admired Vice's new Second dôji form. When the rest of The Good Dôji Club arrived, Jun's presence allowed Vice to feed off his malice and give him more power in his "Vice Back From The Dark" form. Although Vice was ultimately defeated, Vice was able able to steal Ultimo's space-time Noh and realized Jun was useful to him after all, taking Jun as a second master.

With Vice finally accepting Jun as an ally, Vice transported Jun and The Evil Dôji Branch via time-travel to 1944 of Japan. They lived and trained for three years in the Japanese army as they wait for The Good Dôji Club to arrived. Once Yamato and his friends in 1947, Jun was presented when Kaizo Oume reported their enemies' arrival to time period. Vice deployed several members to engaged Yamato and the others as Jun and the rest stays at the mansion to watch the events unfold. By nightfall the next day, the Evil Dôji Branch soon accepted Makoto Sayama as a new ally, who was secretly Dunstan's daughter and has betrayed Yamato in favor joining the former to defeat her father. While watching over Yamato's actions, Jun oversaw Ultimo reaching his Second state, though he, Vice, and the others were unfazed by this development. From Kaizo's home, Jun watched over how Roger Dunstan made an appearance on the battlefield and took Sayama back to The 30th Century. With many of their enemies injured and Fussa joining the opposition, Jun urged Vice to take action and finish off their enemies.

However, Vice snapped at Jun to to be quiet, much to Jun's confusion and was worried at Vice might be broken in some way. Nevertheless, Vice agreed to Jun's assessment and latter was chosen over K come along with him to confront The Good Dôji Club, directing their remaining allies to follow from a distance. As they head towards Hibari's home, they was intercepted by Ultimo, who was waiting for Vice without Yamato by his side. As Ultimo charged at them, Jun and Vice entered their ICON mode and used Jealous's Noh to dodged Ultimo enough for his Crane Sword to grazed them. As they easily overwhelms Ultimo, Jun laughed maniacally throughout the fight and relished in the ICON power, not noticing how Vice briefly hesitated a few times out of repulse. After slicing off Ultimo's arm and downing him, Jun went on a crazed rant of how he wish to destroy everyone in the world. Disgusted by Jun's psychopathic demeanor, Vice ejected Jun out of him and called the boy "rotten", especially since Jun resembled Vice so much. After Ultimo stabbed Vice through the chest, Jun launch an arrow into Vice's neck with his crossbow, which also dislodged him from Ultimo's Crane Sword and making both dôjis fall to the ground. Enraged and disappointed towards Vice for going against his nature, a furious Jun voiced his intention to hit Vice's spirit sphere and called him "worthless", but K stopped Jun from landing a fatal blow. Jun shoot an arrow through K's hand in retaliation. As Jun's arrow also pierce through K's neck, Jun derided K for being stupid and and demanded to be let go, but Yamato Agari and his allies arrives to put a stop to Jun's rampage.

Once the Evil Dôji Branch and the Good Dôji Club come to a truce and allied together, Jun was behind for the rest of the One Hundred Machine Funeral. After Dunstan rewinds time, Jun was last seen being in asylum and finally getting the help he needs to change his ways.

Abilities[]

Jun is shown to be resilient enough to go through Vice's savage abuse, even to the extent of his Karakuri Henge. Being very violent, he possess a wide array of weapons, using cutters and crossbows, or his even own hands to harm those around him.

He has also shown to have high intelligence, maintaining high grades in his school, and has great knowledge of the Karakuri Dôji and their masters, mostly due to Rune uploading information on the Internet.
